Beth Caldwell is Senior Director, Global Meeting Services at Meeting Sites Resource (MSR). She has been with MSR since 2009 and assists customers with global meeting site research, custom hotel contract negotiations, meeting support services, and Strategic Meetings Management (SMM) solutions.
Beth has an outstanding 20 year career in hotel sales, meeting planning, and customer service, including a National Sales Manager position at Red Rock Hotel and Casino and a Senior Sales position the Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Resort. She has also served in a Global Sales Office capacity for Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, with a focus on corporate and association business development. She brings a wealth of knowledge and support to her clients and is a true advocate on their behalf. She is also a great partner to the hotels and destination representatives she is working with, which really helps bridge the gap between her clients and the destination representatives. Working toward creating the optimal outcome for both sides of the negotiations takes creativity, patience, and a willingness to listen and understand each side's needs - all are areas where Beth excels.
She attended a meeting and hospitality industry curriculum at Southern Oregon State College and ultimately transferred to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas as one of the highest rated hospitality programs in the country where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel Administration, with an emphasis in Hotel Sales & Marketing. She graduated with honors in the Golden Key Honor Society.
